RetireAustralia reviewing plans for eight-storey twin retirement living and assisted living towers following market feedback

1 min read

The NZ-owned operator has put its first apartment-style development Fancutts Retirement Living – announced in October last year – on hold following “feedback from the market” – suggesting locals were less than receptive to the new development which is being built on the site of the Fancutts Tennis Centre site at Lutwyche, 5km north of the Brisbane CBD.

“All aspects of the plan will be assessed to ensure this community meets the future needs of retirees in this location,” their site says.

As we covered here, the development will feature 83 independent living apartments and 35 care apartments for residents needing a higher level of support and is part of a wider commitment to assisted living being rolled out across RetireAustralia’s villages.
