The community Not For Profit wants to build two buildings – one three-storey and the other six-storey – with 60 to 70 apartments on a 9,700sqm site at Modbury, 15km southwest of the CBD – its first apartment-style village since the 1970s.
The development will also feature a childcare centre, allied health suites, community garden and respite care.
Enabling Confidence at Home has 104 retirement villages across metropolitan Adelaide, Victor Harbor and Ardrossan. They have recently set their sights higher, announcing plans for a big vertical village at the site of their head office last year.
