SummitCare to replace ageing Randwick facility with new $24M aged care home in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs

1 min read

The NSW provider will demolish its existing 104-bed two-storey facility and replace it with a new home featuring 86 beds and two units under plans submitted to Randwick City Council.

Boffa Robertson Group, which is handling the project’s design, said the new facility would see improved common areas and better accessibility for residents, relatives and staff.

“The proposal seeks approval for the renewal of the existing seniors housing development, which is over 50 years old, into a new modern seniors housing development,” they state.

SummitCare has 10 aged care homes across Sydney and Newcastle.
