1 min read

The high-end Sydney-based developer has been appointed by Kingborough Council to redevelop the 11.3ha site of the former Kingston High School, 12km south of Hobart, into Kingston Park, an urban precinct including up to 400 residential and retirement living units, aged care, community hub commercial space and four hectares of parkland.

The project is the first of three initiatives by the developer in Tasmania valued at over $750 million.

Traders in Purple have already taken their mixed-use concept to Brisbane. Last month, they received approval for their Wilshire Village development which will see a retirement village, residential apartment building, child care centre and a disability respite care centre built over two buildings in Mitchelton, 8km from the CBD.
