HSC Technology, Telstra and SAPIO security have partnered up to supply new personal alarm system technology to Anglicare’s Retirement Living Division in NSW.
The agreement will see the software company roll out the next generation technology to 2,300 of Anglicare’s retirement units, replacing the providers existing 2000 personal alarm systems.
The end-to-end delivery of the technology will enable seniors to live safely and independently with the comfort of having 24-hour assistance when required.
Installation of the new personal alarm system will begin in the coming weeks and is expected to be finished by the end of 2021.
Anglicare General Manager for Retirement Living Jacob Squillacioti said the way the HSC technology can adapt and evolve with a resident’s needs was particularly appealing.
The technology will also allow Anglicare to increase its level of care and safety while enhancing the independent environment of its villages, Mr Squillacioti said.
The introduction of updated technology is also in line with recommendations from the Royal Commission.
