The firm, widely acknowledged as the best seniors’ architects in the world, will design the provider’s newest facility at Belrose, 9km from the CBD on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
As we reported here, the proposal for the five-storey $26.5M facility had raised issues for some neighbours who had complained about the height and size of the development in the typically low-rise area.
However, ThomsonAdsett’s design will ensure the facility’s height presents at just three storeys from the street and will use brick and sandstone to replicate the scale of the other houses in the neighbourhood.
