25 years after the account and the surveyor accidentally met on a Sunshine Coast holiday, their company Regis Healthcare floated on the stock exchange late last year and since then shares have increased another 44%.
Brian Dorman and Ian Roberts each receive $75 million and 27.3% of Regis. This gives them a worth of $550 million each, catapulting them into the BRW Rich List.
Regis has 45 aged care facilities and 5400 beds.
