VIC: Labor woos Indian-Australians with two new aged care facilities

1 min read

The state’s Premier Daniel Andrews has pledged up to $14.5 million to build two new facilities for the community in Melbourne’s west and southeast if his party is re-elected in the Melbourne election.

Around 170,000 Victorians were born in India, the largest population in Australia.

Mr Andrews says that many have been advocating for the care facilities but only the Labor Party will deliver – if they win of course.
