1 min read

In a clear sign the Not For Profits are readying themselves for the introduction of CDC in February 2017, Wesley Mission Victoria and 21 UnitingCare services in VIC and TAS have announced their merger.

To be known as Uniting, the move makes the group one of the largest providers of aged care and other community services in Victoria and Tasmania with a budget of around $250M, plus 3,500 staff and another 3,500 volunteers.

The new board will be headed up by former Victorian Health Minister Bronwyn Pike, while the CEO is Paul Linossier, who was previously the CEO of Wesley Mission Victoria.

The merger is expected to be completed by mid-2017.
