The NSW-based Not For Profit has added another 115 aged care beds to its existing 60-bed home in Redhead, 16km south of Newcastle.
The expansion incorporates eight households featuring ocean views, ground floor courtyard rooms with direct access to green spaces, an onsite café, allied health rooms, hair and beauty salon and large activities spaces.
Whiddon currently has 21 aged care homes, 13 retirement villages and 10 community care services across NSW and southern Queensland.
