Anglicare and Village Retirement Group to fight back on Lota House development (QLD)

The two providers, partnered for this project, will be appealing a refusal from Brisbane City Council for a “luxury” retirement village development next to the heritage-listed Lota House (20 kilometres west of Brisbane CBD).

The development has been an ongoing point of contention between the council, and Anglicare and VRG.

VRG (owned by father-and-son team Justin and Michael Harrison), has three other retirement villages in central Brisbane, as well as two others in QLD. The group has won multiple awards for their property designs – one of which we covered here.
