This is the number of website clicks (blue) and phone number clicks (red) that visitors on made earlier this year.

9,500 people and 4,500 people respectively want to know more about a village.

The graph below shows the number of email enquiry forms sent out from 950 in January. All up, that’s 14,950 enquiries by serious village shoppers in one month.

In fact every year January 10 to January 17 is our biggest individual week.

If your salespeople were planning holidays, cancel them!

To put things in perspective, just 20,000 retirement village homes become available each year to sell (at 10% turnover), which works out at 1,666 every month.

You can see from the graph that October to December the number of people interested in buying a retirement village home drops away while the rate of new vacancies doesn’t slow in these months. You are likely to have a buildup of stock.

So, making ‘sales hay’ in January and February is doubly important.
