Aura starts earthworks for medium-rise Toowoomba Golf Club retirement village

1 min read

Apartments at The Ninth Middle Ridge (pictured) are now selling to the public after the end of a one-month exclusivity period for club members to lodge an expression of interest on their preferred apartment.

As we reported here, the development was unanimously approved by the local Council in 2018 – an almost unheard-of event.

$750,000 is being spent on relocating the tenth tee and the storage sheds for golf buggies, while construction has begun on an overflow carpark and a new access route for the site which will see 85 two, three and four-bedroom apartments built over three three- and four-storey buildings overlooking the ninth hole at Middle Ridge, 130km west of Brisbane.

Major building work by McNab – who has partnered with Cox Architecture on the project – is now expected to start in April – to be completed in mid-2021.

Aura currently has six projects in various stages of development in southeast Queensland.

Aura CEO Tim Russell will be discussing the drivers of retirement villages sales at our LEADERS SUMMIT. Learn more HERE.
