Benetas acquires 90-bed stand-alone private aged care home in Melbourne

The Victorian Not For Profit has finalised the acquisition of Clarinda on the Park, in Clarinda, 18km southeast of Melbourne’s CBD, after 25 years of sole operation.

Benetas says the area has been deemed a priority for their business, moving them to negotiate the sales which will expand their portfolio to 14 homes across the state.

Benetas CEO Sandra Hills OAM said the majority of employees of Clarinda on the Park remain in their roles which had helped to support the transition to the organisation.

“Our team is experienced in managing mergers and acquisitions but we cannot expect a smooth transition without the consistency of those on site at the home,” she said.

Benetas supports over 8,500 people in metro and regional Victoria across its residential aged care, retirement villages, home care and allied health services.
