Bucking the SA sales trend: Living Choice takes nine deposits in five days at its Woodcroft village in Adelaide

1 min read

Living Choice’s owners, Adelaide-based Ian Tregoning and Graham Hobbs bought the village from the receivers in 2015. Sales have now topped 18 for the latest stage of the village where a new $7 million leisure centre, 54 villas and six apartments have been built, and 20 homes refurbished.

As we reported here, the village, formerly the Fernleigh Gardens Retirement Village, had been placed in receivership in May 2012, leaving over 200 residents in limbo.

At the time of the purchase, the village had 129 units and 28 apartments. Living Choice gained approval for another 91 units and 18 apartments plus the leisure centre which some residents had been waiting for more than 20 years to be built by the previous owner.

Living Choice has also taken another five deposits at its award-winning Fullarton village last month.

Good news at a time when most operators are reporting flagging sales.
