Living Choice buys Adelaide village

1 min read

Just three months after opening Living Choice Fullarton, a 140-apartment retirement village in Fullarton, Living Choice Australia Ltd has announced the acquisition of Fernleigh Gardens Retirement Estate in Woodcroft.

Located 20kms south of the Adelaide CBD, the village – which currently has 129 villas and 28 apartments - has been renamed Living Choice Woodcroft and is the 9th operating village in the Living Choice portfolio. It is the second South Australian village for the Adelaide born-and-bred directors, Ian Tregoning and Graham Hobbs.

They intend an extensive expansion program for the 21-year-old village, which was placed in receivership in May 2012, leaving the 203 residents in limbo. The residents have never had a leisure centre.
The village has 24 vacant homes.
