Living Choice buys Adelaide village

Just three months after opening Living Choice Fullarton, a 140-apartment retirement village in Fullarton, Living Choice Australia Ltd has announced the acquisition of Fernleigh Gardens Retirement Estate in Woodcroft.

Located 20kms south of the Adelaide CBD, the village which currently has 129 villas and 28 apartments - has been renamed Living Choice Woodcroft and is the 9th operating village in the Living Choice portfolio. It is the second South Australian village for the Adelaide born-and-bred directors, Ian Tregoning and Graham Hobbs.

They intend an extensive expansion program for the 21-year-old village, which was placed in receivership in May 2012, leaving the 203 residents in limbo. The residents have never had a leisure centre.
The village has 24 vacant homes.
