Lendlease’s first Victorian luxury retirement living project launches on former site of Nine Network

1 min read

Lendlease has announced its first Victorian development under its Ardency luxury brand, Ardency Kennedy Place at the former home of the Nine Network in Bendigo St, Richmond, 3km from the Melbourne CBD.

As we reported here, Australia’s largest village operator re-submitted plans for a retirement village with affordable housing and a 144-bed aged care facility to be run by Catholic Healthcare at the site in February 2018 after originally gaining approval for development in 2012. The on-site display is now open to the public.

Named after The King of Australian television, Graham Kennedy, the new development will feature 116 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments across nine storeys, along with a 12-hour daily concierge service.

Lendlease now has 72 villages across Australia, including three luxury villages under the Ardency brand at Greenwich, Yowie Bay and Elizabeth Bay in NSW.
