New $95M land lease community opens in Bundaberg

1 min read

A new $95 million land lease development has opened in Bundaberg, Queensland.

Spring Lakes Resort, set on 50 acres of riverfront land at Avoca, features amenities including a nine-hole golf course, a library, a cinema, a citrus orchard for residents, two pools – one covered and heated, the other an outdoor lap pool – and a tiger turf bowling green.

A total of 180 homes are slated to be built over the next six years, and an aged care facility is also planned for the site in future.

The development is near central Bundaberg with its airport, railway station, and shopping centres, and is a gated community specifically designed for baby boomers and interstate retirees.

“No other Bundaberg Over 50s Resort has the benefit of this breathtaking outlook. Yet it is so close to medical facilities, hospitals, shopping, clubs, cafes and restaurants,” the developer says.

First release homes are on sale starting at $449,000.
