Opal HealthCare has officially opened Stage 1 of its redeveloped Narrabeen Glades Care Community, formerly known as Opal Seaside, at Warriewood, 26km north of Sydney CBSD.

The residential aged care facility, which has been an integral part of the local community for 35 years, will offer 148 residential places at full occupancy.

It is being redeveloped and expanded in two stages to cater for the changing needs and expectations of older people in the area.

Narrabeen Glades Care Community General Manager, Narelle Bath, said the beautiful new building captures the ambience of the local environment.

“We’re delighted to be celebrating the opening of Stage 1 which is already fully occupied,” said Ms Bath.

“The redevelopment offers a community that residents can enjoy living in, while nurturing their wellbeing and community connections.”
