NSW South Coast clubs join forces ahead of retirement village development

The Bomaderry Bowling Club, 165km south of Sydney, has taken over the Nowra Golf Club as part of a 10-year strategic plan that includes plans for a retirement village and an indoor bowling club on the 8.48ha Nowra Saleyards site which the Bowling Club purchased in August 2015.

The Bowling Club had been running the Golf Club since November last year and members voted in favour of the decision last week.

This follows our story last week here of Easts Group banding Bondi and Waverley Clubs together and developing a retirement village as a way to ensure their ongoing survival.
