Reside Communities gets go-ahead for medium-rise retirement towers co-located with its retirement village in Brisbane’s south

1 min read

The five-storey extension to the existing Brookland retirement village – which Reside acquired in 2018 – will consist of two towers and 93 units, situated on the city’s Southside between McCullough St and Troughton Rd at Robertson.

The initial DA proposed the construction of 84 units with two- and three-bedroom apartments; but this was later extended to include additional one- and two-bedroom units.

Brookland’s site already has 121 units spread across various one- and two-storey villas.

Stage 1 of construction will commence at some point this year depending on the outlook of COVID-19, with the first round of 39 units with the remaining 53 to be built shortly thereafter.
