Shepparton Villages opens $20 million Mooroopna aged care redevelopment

1 min read

The doors to the community-based Not for Profit’s redeveloped 100-bed Mooroopna Place aged care home have finally opened.

The home’s 60-bed wing Campbell Court opened on 2 and 3 February, with the remaining 40-bed wing Varapodio Way due to open in April.

The building is part of Rodney Park Village, which was formerly three separate facilities but has now been joined together under one roof.

The launch of the facility will see Shepparton Villages close its Acacia House aged care home at Tarcoola in Shepparton, with residents to move to Mooroopna Place.

The provider also has another 120-bed facility Maculata Place in Shepparton which opened two years ago.
