Social networking sites can help reduce loneliness

New research conducted by Helping Hand Aged Care, RSL Care, Southern Cross Care (SA), and ECH in conjunction with the University of South Australia and Griffith University has found that social networking sites can assist in reducing loneliness in older Australians. ‘Alone in a Crowd: Supporting Older Australians Managing Loneliness’ was funded by the Australian Research Council.
