Southern-based aged care operator spends $3.086 million on Queensland university site

1 min read

The unnamed provider plans to develop an aged care home at the 7715sqm site in the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Novus Innovation Park while building strong ties with the university.

“The aged-care provider plans to take students and place them in the facility to train them,” selling agent Baydn Dodds of Colliers International said.

The site will be just a short drive away from the University’s new $2 billion Hospital, which is due to open in early 2017, while Ochre Health’s $60 million GP Super clinic is already up and running nearby.
