TAFE NSW seeks industry partner for new aged care Centre of Excellence

As we reported here, the NSW Government announced $2.5 million in its recent Budget to fund the development of a new aged care training ‘Centre of Excellence’ – now they are looking for an industry partner to join TAFE NSW in the venture.

The TAFE NSW Residential Aged Care Centre of Excellence will be co-located with a purpose-built industry partner facility, and will help to meet demand for the estimated one million aged care workers needed by 2050.

Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) has also indicated that one of their focuses in the coming year will be workforce excellence.

This EOI is open to industry partners until 15 February 2021.
