Consultants for village developers Mal Pratt and Dale Massie have lodged a development application with Sunshine Coast Council for 21 two-bedroom units and 34 three-bedroom units in a seven-storey block, which would be built about 200 metres from Maroochydore Beach.

Plantation Maroochydore Pty Ltd, whose directors are Leanne Jones, Mr Pratt and Mr Massie, propose the development within the town’s high density residential zone and the existing units would be demolished.

Plantation also own the new 42-unit Plantation Retirement Resort Cotton Tree, which launched last year also in Maroochydore; Plantation Retirement Resort Morayfield, and the 143-unit Petrie Creek Rosemount, on the Sunshine Coast.

The SunCentral Maroochydore master planned city centre is a $2.1 billion capital injection for the Sunshine Coast.
