Family-run aged care provider Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group has taken over the running of a Council-run 40-bed aged care facility in Donnybrook, 210km south of Perth’s CBD.

Hall & Prior Health and Aged Care Group, which operates 27 RACs across WA and NSW, will manage Donnybrook-Balingup Shire’s Tuia Lodge Residential Care Facility, which opened in 1985.

The Group has taken out a 21-year lease and the Council remains the home’s landlord.

The provider will refurbish the home and add an in-home community-based care program to increase options for the local community.

“Hall & Prior is looking forward to becoming part of this wonderful town; our goal is to deliver premium health outcomes for local residents in a home that remains connected to the broader Donnybrook-Balingup community,” said CEO Graeme Prior.
