Aveo fast tracks second release of $280 million Carindale (QLD) retirement redevelopment due to ‘unprecedented’ demand

The retirement living provider is releasing 27 additional independent living apartments early from the $55 million first stage of its Aveo Carindale redevelopment (16 kilometres south of Brisbane CBD), following high levels of interest from buyers after just two months on the market.

As we reported here in March, once completed, the redevelopment will deliver 432 independent living units and a 115-bed high care facility.

It is set to be south-east Brisbane’s largest retirement community – complementing Aveo’s existing 144-apartment Newstead retirement community, just four kilometres north of the CBD.

The existing site is located opposite Westfield Carindale and Aveo first constructed the community in 1985.

Prices for the new independent living apartments start at $295,000.
