Melisi Projects has started building nine independent living villas, from $539,000, and six multi-storey independent living apartments, from $310,000 in the final stage of Stockland’s $6.5 million Lightsview Retirement Village in one of Adelaide’s newest growth suburbs, Lightsview.

“The 15 new homes have been specifically designed to meet the needs and expectations of the modern retiree, with a focus on delivering low-maintenance, safe and secure residences within a vibrant community of like-minded people,” said Stockland’s SA Area Manager, Christian Macintosh.

The village, which is 10km from Adelaide’s CBD, has 117 homes which have exclusive access to a multi-functional clubhouse with bar and café facilities, gym, on-site library, communal vegetable garden and private dog park. It is set among 15 hectares of reserves and green space.

Upon completion, it will be home to more than 175 residents.
