One of the brownfield developments that Japara will have on its books is the Cosgrove Park retirement village in South Launceston, where an application have been lodged to demolish 68 units to make way for 126 new units.
The village’s existing bowling green and chapel along with the first stage of the development – completed in 2008 – would be retained.
Japara tells us: “The Japara team are currently meeting with the residents of Cosgrove Cottages to hear and alleviate any concerns that they might have.”
