Ku-ring-gai Council (Sydney) bowling clubs earmarked for senior housing development

1 min read

Concept plans for two closed bowling clubs owned by Ku-ring-gai Council in Northern Sydney reveal a senior housing development is planned.

Gordon and East Roseville bowling clubs closed in 2017 and the council seeks to raise money and care for the area’s housing needs.

The Gordon club could become a site for 17 seniors living units.

Similar plans are proposed for the East Roseville club, which was founded in 1948, with nine units earmarked for the site.

A report to Ku-ring-gai Council states the sites would raise at least $18 million if sold.
