Australia’s first golf and lifestyle community, Halcyon Greens at Pimpama (land lease community) – 52 kilometres south-east of Brisbane CBD – has been designed with a focus on promoting “active living”.
The first stage of the precinct boasts the largest facility in the country for the sporting phenomenon ‘pickleball’, and features eight floodlit pickleball courts, as well as a championship-sized bowling green and a tennis court (pictured).
Stage Two will include a resort pool and Leisure Club and is expected to be completed in mid-2019.
$13 million is significant budget allocation for ‘recreation’ purposes, with community facilities typically costing closer to $5 million.
Once completed, the entire Recreation Precinct will include a gold class-style cinema, dance studio, massage room, games room, craft room, herb and vegetable garden and two pools in addition to the Pavilion.
It will also grant Halcyon Greens the title of ‘largest recreational facility in south-east QLD’.
Greens at Pimpama is the QLD-based Halcyon’s seventh land lease community.
