Start date for Oak Tree Group’s 60 retirement villas facility in Nambucca Heads

1 min read

Brisbane-based Oak Tree Group will begin building its latest boutique villa retirement facility in Nambucca Heads, NSW, with a cutting the soil ceremony in June.

The 60 villas will consist of two ($430,000) and three bedrooms ($525,000) villas.

Stage one of the development will be 12 villas, with a completion date of July 2022.

Oak Tree Group has opened up registrations of interest for the first stage of its Coffs Harbour community, which will feature 53 single- and two-storey villas.

Oak Tree now has 31 retirement villages across Queensland, NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.

In addition, an appeal against Oak Tree Group’s third retirement development in Toowoomba, Queensland, was withdrawn in March and it submitted plans for a 52 home retirement village in Yamba, NSW, last month.

Established in about 2004 by Mark Bindon, with Franco and Marco De Pasquale, they attracted Aware Super who acquired 70% of the business in 2017. Their business model is to develop smaller villages ranging from 50 to 95 homes, in regional areas.
