The 2018 Australian Healthcare Week Excellence Award was given to The Village because of the innovation it delivers, particularly for dementia residents and their families. Technology replacing nurse stations, a piazza, an olive grove and gelataria, all in Drummoyne, 6km from the Sydney CBD.
