Four locals, the Mann brothers, are behind the Station Creek Lifestyle Resort, which will be home to 210 RV-friendly homes and 350 units – 560 in total – at Gladstone, 550km north of Brisbane.
The centrepiece of the new development will be an 18-hole golf course designed by golfing great Graham Marsh.
The developers hope the site will offer more retirement living choices to seniors in the region, who often head to Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Yeppoon in search of options.
They are not the first LLC to target the RV market – RV Homebase at Fraser Island and the Gold Coast’s AHC are developing RV communities.
