Aspen settles site for 200-home land lease community at Mount Barker in SA

The ASX-listed land lease and holiday park operator has paid $4.51 million for a 11.5ha site for its latest development.

The site is currently approved for 97 residential lots, but Aspen says it is instead planning to develop about 200 land lease home valued at under $300,000 plus residential lots, subject to Council approving the change.

If the project gets the green light, the homes will represent good value for the area.

The local median house price in Mount Barker, 33km from Adelaide’s CBD, currently sits at around $425,000.

CoreLogic also reported the region has experienced increased property sales, 336 to September 2020, at an average sale price of $434,000.
