Provectus Care to develop 9-storey beachside RV in Sydney’s south

1 min read

Provectus Care has filed a development application for a high-rise luxury retirement village in a prominent site on Cronulla beach in Sydney’s south.

The property sold last year for $38.2 million, and is currently occupied by two blocks of red brick flats that date back to the 1950s.

Provectus plans to develop 37 two- and three-bedroom independent living residences, with indicative prices reportedly ranging from $1.5 million to $4.5 million.

Sally Taylor, director of Provectus’ retirement village arm, said they’d been working with the council for a year on the new 9-storey development, called Sage by Moran.

“We have been working with the council to really activate that corner,” she said.

“At the moment it is an eyesore. It definitely needs a beautiful centrepiece for Cronulla.”

Provectus was founded by Dr Shane Moran, previous chief of Moran Health Group.
