Sale of planned retirement village site at Novotel Coffs Harbour falls through

1 min read

The site, one of nine parcels of vacant land across 11ha surrounding the Novotel Pacific Bay Resort in Coffs Harbour, was approved in April for a 60-unit retirement village over two buildings seven and eight storeys and had been under offer until the deal fell through last week.

The sale comes as the local paper reports that the ageing 20-year-old Resort is set to shut its doors in January.

The agents will now re-advertise the land for residential development, seniors’ housing or expansion of the resort later this week.

The deal also includes five strata units, the central resort facilities and the use of the resort facilities including the nine-hole golf course, tennis courts, pools and gardens.
