Yes, four bed aged care rooms still exist, even on the outskirts of Sydney.

Uniting is redeveloping its Edinglassie Village care facility into a new 100 bed structure consisting of five ‘households’ of 20 single rooms with ensuites.

With a benchmark price of $250,000 per bed to build in today’s market, the back of envelope investment required is $1M per room conversion.
